Financial Donations
The Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is run by the Vancouver Police Historical Society, a registered charity and not-for-profit organization.
The museum is self-funded from revenue from admissions, programs and grants. As an independently funded organization, we rely on fundraising and your generous donations to keep our operations going.

Object Donations
The Vancouver Police Museum and Archives is dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the Vancouver Police Department, the historic City Coroner’s Services and the City Analyst’s Laboratory.
Our objects are used for exhibition, research, education, publication, and serve as a legacy for future generations. To ensure that the VPMA makes the best use of its resources in developing and maintaining strong and focussed collections, a formal acquisitions policy is followed.
Volunteer
The Vancouver Police Museum has fostered the careers of many museum curators, historians and directors. Our internships and volunteer opportunities support individuals by helping them:
-
Learn the foundational elements of museum work and management
-
Work with an experienced group of directors, curators, museum specialists and archivists
-
Boost their work experience through an immersive and diverse range of roles
-
Attend and take part in museum events and lectures
