Public Transit: There are several options available.

Sky Train: Take the Canada line to Waterfront Station and exit at Bay 3. Buses #4 (Powell) and #7 (Nanaimo Station) stop right across the street, and you can get off at the Main Street stop, which is just a few yards away from the museum.

Alternatively, you can take the Vancouver Trolley to Gastown.

Driving: The museum is easily accessible by car. While there are no designated parking spaces, street parking is often available nearby.

Accessibility
The museum is located in a heritage building, which regrettably does not have an elevator or wheelchair access. There are 4 steps outside to the front door of the building, and 2.5 flights of stairs inside up to the museum.
Museum restrooms are also not wheelchair accessible.
