Please note that the museum is a heritage building, which regrettably does not have an elevator or wheelchair access and 2.5 flights of stairs inside up to the museum.
Museum restrooms are also not wheelchair accessible.

An After-Hours True Crime &
Forensics Experience
This summer, the Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is unlocking its doors for an exclusive event. Dark Science - Summerween Session is an after-hours interactive exploration of forensic sciences, true crime, and summertime Halloween.
With special guest, prestigious BC Coroner Laura Yazedjian who will be presenting a deep-dive exploration into the infamous Salish Sea severed feet case.
This isn’t your average event. It’s an interactive, 2.5-hour plunge into the gritty reality of modern forensics, hosted by museum staff and real experts, in the city's most authentic, macabre setting.

6:30 to 7:00 - Fingerprinting or Entomology

7:00 to 8:00 - Laura Yazedijan's presentation, Q&A, and museum exploration

8:00 to 8:30 - Blood Spatter or Fingerprinting+ (for those who are a little squeamish)

8:30 to 9:00 - Presentation on the Paul's family cold case or Presentation on BC unidentified homicide victims
* Participation in our interactive forensic stations (Fingerprints, Entomology, and Blood Spatter) is subject to capacity limits. Visitors will select their activities upon arrival on a first-come, first-served basis.
