I love when they can do DNA testing in about twenty seconds and always get a perfect match! Or can always cleanly match a partial finger print that they find on a counter somewhere. What, nobody else has touched that counter?? Or find ONE SINGLE HAIR that ties someone to a crime scene. What if there's a cat in the house? Sheesh.

My favourite isn't so much forensic as is the sheer amount of cross referenced databases that the FBI and NCIS have access to in Criminal Minds and both NCIS shows.

I need a list of white men between 30 and 40 who have a truck, were in foster care, were in the Marines, work as a landscaper, and live in this 20 block radius.

Sure! Let me spit that list out for you in 8/10 of a second!

OMG! There's only ONE guy! Let's go to his house!

Mmmhmmm, I'm sure that happens all the time.
