The forensic Spring Break programs that we mentioned earlier are filling up nicely; thanks to all of you who helped spread the word. In addition, the media coverage for them should start in the next few days as our press releases filter out. With a little luck, we’ll be on Breakfast Television in a week or so doing some fascinating (if maybe gross) demos…
Just a reminder about the topics we’ll be covering in our workshops:
- Mar 16 – Fingerprints – how to find them, collect them and analyze them
- Mar 17 – Impression Evidence – footprints, tire treads, bitemarks and more
- Mar 18 – Forensic Entomology – how do creepy-crawlies get used to solve crimes?
- Mar 19 – Ballistics – everything you need to know about bullets and firearms to be a good sleuth
- Mar 20 – Blood Spatter (for older kids only!) – every drop, smear and spurt tell a bit of the story; learn how to read the signs.
For more information, check out the details here. There are limited spaces in each workshop, so register your kids early.
(By the way, if you’d be interested in us doing similar workshops for adults, let us know… we might just offer them later this spring…)
