We get that a lot; our museum has been here for 23 years but it’s only in the last few years that we’ve finally started to get attention. A big part of that, of course, is just getting the word out. Also, we provide a lot of programs that are more likely to interest people, now.

Our museum isn’t for everyone, since half of our museum is in the old City Morgue and autopsy facilities, but for parents that come with their kids, there’s no shortage of “teachable moments” here.

Wow, had no idea the Police Museum existed.
These programs are a great way to hold kids interest and learn at the same time. With the popularity of CSI, NCIS and Law and Order I am sure your program will be a huge success.

Beef livers are very appealing to the same bugs that are used to estimate post-mortem interval. You can’t register for the blood spatter session, but we could do something special for you and a few friends if you wanted sometime. Of course, it would have to include a visit to the old “Blood Drying Room” in the basement of our building…
