Junior Forensic Investigators Club
Interested in meeting other youth interested in forensic science? Want to experience hands-on forensic science experiments and skills? We're proud to announce our new Jr. Forensic Investigators Club. This program is intended to encourage youth interest in forensic science and is open to youth age 7-14.
How to become a Jr. Forensic Investigator
Attend any of our seasonal (winter, spring or summer break) forensic workshops to receive your temporary membership card. You must attend three workshops and get three stamps in order to receive your permanent membership card. Once three stamps are obtained, give your card (complete with name and address) to your workshop leader or bring it to the Police Museum. Your permanent membership card (valid for one year) will be mailed to you. Remember, it is your responsibility to bring your card to each workshop to get it stamped.
Membership Benefits
Once you have attended three workshops and received your permanent membership card you will receive the following for one year:
- Free admission to the museum.
- One free admission pass for a friend or family member.
- 10% discount in our gift shop.
- VPHS member rates for Forensic Science birthday parties and workshops.
- Invitations to future Jr. Forensic Investigator events and activities.
Renewals
Once you receive your official membership card it is valid for one year. In order for a participant to renew their membership they must complete one additional seasonal workshop at the member rate of $5.
